How odds formats relate
- Decimal (European): the total return per $1 staked. 2.50 means a $1 bet returns $2.50 (your $1 back plus $1.50 profit).
- Fractional (UK): profit-to-stake. 3/2 means $3 profit for every $2 staked β the same as decimal 2.50.
- American (moneyline): based on a $100 stake. A positive number (+150) is the profit on a $100 bet; a negative number (-200) is how much you must stake to profit $100.
- Implied probability: 1 Γ· decimal odds, as a percentage β the bookmaker's estimate of the chance, including their margin. See why betting odds never add up to 100% to understand that margin.
Conversions are mathematical and exact (fractional odds are shown as the closest standard fraction). This tool is for information only β always confirm the exact odds with the operator before betting.
